Efosa Bolaji ODIGIE
Dr. Efosa Bolaji Odigie holds PhD in Medical Laboratory Science (Histopathology/Cytopathology field of study) at the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a Distinction PhD & MSc respectively and a Second Class Upper Division in BMLS degree. His research interest focuses on Experimental, Comparative, Anatomic & Retrospective Histopathology & Cytopathology, Deleterious Effect of Medicinal Plants in Animal Model, Commercial/ Transactional Sex Activities, Artificial Intelligence including modelling, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics e.t.c. He has over 41 publications in quality peer review and referred journals in the above subjects and has delivered research papers in conferences both local and national. In addition, Dr. Odigie has over time developed personal skills in the following areas: Microscopy, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry & Immunocytochemistry, Tissue culture, Animal Handling & Experimentation, Molecular Biology, Tumour/ Cancer and Cell Biology, Cancer genetics, Flow Cytometry, DNA and RNA Isolation, and Real Time/ Multiplex PCR and Basic knowledge of next generation sequencing. Dr. Efosa Bolaji Odigie has won numerous awards and several Local and National Research Grants and Support e.g. TETFUND, URPC, EDSMOH e.t.c. He is presently, the Coordinator, Sexual Health Concerns for Commercial Sex Workers (SHCCSW) Research Group, University of Benin, Nigeria. He is emotionally stable (married to pretty Osarogie Joyce), and blessed with Cherub Eseosa and Saraphina Oghogho.
