MICHAEL OVBARE AKHARAME
Mr. Michael Ovbare Akharame is an Assistant Lecturer and Examination Officer in the Department of Environmental Management and Toxicology, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He teaches Environmental Chemistry, Techniques in Environmental Analysis and General Chemistry at the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Benin, Nigeria. He recently joined the academia after about seven (7) years stint in industrial world, specifically bottling industry. He worked as a Quality/Process Control Superintendent where he supervised operations in various sections such as; water treatment, syrup processes, process line, effluent treatment, raw material analysis and receipt and general environmental management coupled with integrated pest management (IPM) in a multinational carbonated drink company. Mr. Akharame is a budding Lecturer who is currently carrying out his Ph.D research in Environmental Chemistry (Remediation/Pollution Control). He already has a journal publication and also has many on-going researches.
