Biography:

Dr Ogbeide is a lecturer at the department of Environmental Management and Toxicology (EMT), Faculty of Life Sciences. He is also a member of the ecotoxicology and environmental forensics team, where he serves as a research assistant at the ecotoxicology laboratory. Dr Ogbeide’s research area has been focused on the determination of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in various environmental matrices and estimating its impact on the health of the ecosystem including humans. His findings has been published in various relevant journals and presented in several local and international conferences. His current area of investigation includes the use of predictive models and indices to estimate the human health risk associated with dietary and non-dietary exposures to pesticides.
