Biography: 

Miss Grace Esohe Uhunamure is an Assistant Lecturer, Department of Environmental Management and toxicology, University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. She co-lectures Biochemistry (Metabolic pathways), functional Biochemistry and Environmental Biotechnology. She assists in course coordination, supervise student’s seminar and project work. Miss Uhunamure’s Research areas focus mainly on molecular studies associated with the toxic effects of minerals and crude oil on animals, plants and soil. Management of detrimental effect using animal and cell line models, and in the soil by Bioremediation. She has given seminar presentations and is currently undergoing her Ph.D. programme in her area of interest. Her MSc. Thesis was based on the molecular study on the effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines on the endocytic trafficking of tight junction proteins in Hepatocytes. She is also certified as a Global leader and a member of Research gate.
